Apart from being a seasoned technocrat, Ashim is an author and academician he has authored and presented several papers on different themes related to Mechanical, Mining, Mining Machinery, Metals; Minerals, Environmental Development and Sustainability, Use of Vernacular Language in Engineering, Ethics in Engineering etc.
A down to earth persona with capability of creating and dwelling his own spacetime, Ashim has been an amid devotee; follower of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, embarking his spiritual journey he has to his credit of authoring, publishing his book ‘SRI SRI RAMAKRISHNA KATHAMRITA – As I have Understood’. Ashim is also associated with Ramakrishna mission, Asansol as a volunteer with amid contributions to the poor and needy of the society. He has also organized and volunteered various eye camps on behalf of the mission and for Lions club international.
